We Are Hosting a Pajama Drive All Month Long

Hey everybody! We continue to give out of our own abundance, and kindly ask you to participate in our Pajama Drive. During the month of December we will be hosting a Pajama Drive for kids in need. Starting today, we will be collecting pajamas and books for the Pajama Program. One of our patient’s runs the San Diego Chapter, and we couldn’t think of a better way to close out the year than supporting local kiddos that don’t have pajamas. The Pajama Program’s Message

“At Pajama Program, we know that this doesn’t have to be their story. We know that we can do something that not only validates their worth and shows them love, but that also transforms their nights and their days. By offering the magical gifts of pajamas and books, we bring a caring bedtime ritual into their lives. Changing out of their clothes and into warm, cozy pajamas lets them shed the stresses of their day, trading them for feelings of warmth and hope. With enchanting stories, kids imaginations are opened, helping them to dream again. These unconditional gifts fill them with love and a feeling of being cared for. Resulting in transitioning to bedtime and delivering a good night — preparing them for a good day that leads to a better life.”

Doesn’t That Just Melt Your Heart?!

It does ours, so as you are out and about doing your Christmas shopping, consider this great cause. Bring in new pajamas and books to your next appointment, or feel free to simply drop them off at the lobby.

What Do Pajamas, Books & Oprah Have In Common?

Dr. Tapia is a big fan of Oprah, and she dares you to watch this clip without shedding a tear. Check out the Pajama Program’s Founder, Genevieve Piturro on the Oprah Show HERE.  The pajama drive ends Thursday, December 21st. Thank you in advance! xoxo
